Dueber Elementary School Reviews

The teachers are awesome, caring and involved. Bullies aren't dealt with effectively. My children have all had some problems in different academic areas and their teachers have ALWAYS helped them get through it successfully. My children do quite well in school and I know that it is because of their teachers' involvement. The pricipal just doesn't seem to be a very firm disiplinarian and the well behaved children suffer for it. I would like to see more teachers outside before and after school. There aren't enough eyes watching all of those kids. All in all children seem to thrive there.

I attended Dueber Elementary as a child, as have all four of my children. My two oldest children are freshman in college. At Dueber they were given a love of learning and the I CAN attitude that has made them successful students. My youngest still attends Dueber and is being taught the same love of learning. All of my children are Hyperactive, the youngest has ADHD. The staff has been wonderfully supportive of my decision NOT to medicate the children who did not have attention deficit but were hyperactive. They took the time and effort to make sure that all of my children got a quality education, tailored to their needs. But, remember, no matter where your child attends, the greatest input is YOURS. At Dueber, your input is valued and respected.

We have had children in Dueber for a total of four years and have had nothing but positive experiences with teachers and principals. I do appreciate the Parent Academy that gave those of us who are interested the opportunity to see what is expected of our children every step of the way.

This is a truly horrible school. I would reccommend not sending your children here. The principal and teachers don't care about helping children. My child still has nightmares over that school.
